We currently run a Quickcut GB 580 but it is in need of replacing and do not want another quick cut ,first choice would be a Krone Xdisc as we all ready run a lot of Krone gear but they wont supply one to fit John Deere choppers we are not against fitting it to the chopper our selves but were wondering if anyone has experience of the the Zurn fronts or Macdon draper fronts or any other brand of front except claas .

There's a Italian made header which a customer of mind has and it's gone very well but forgot the name
It has a interchangable headstock as well

Have a look at Marangon, I think they have a folding header in the pipeline too. A few others but I can't remember the names.

I would go fo Zurn but they do seem to be expensive. Local contractor brought his JD 8600 forager to hook up to our krone maize header and decide against it a big job to make it fit and he not one to be put off making things to fit.

Seen one of these headers working & was making a super job & was feeding very well to, it is a Domai sold by a guy in Holland in Europe & Frank Taylor sells them in the UK
