Who'll Do Your Job Now? | Monday 8pm

We employ upto a1000 immigrants seasonally, four English turned up once and failed to complete a full morning when they realized they had only earned around £20 compared with around £70 earned by the immigrants, we still get the occasional English potential turn up for manual labour, NONE last a week, machine operator's are a different matter, they usually hack the 12-14 hour days for a year or so , I can't take on challenges as it's not my business. It appears you are the stupid one as I'm quoting facts where you are quoting fantasises.
would you do the job the immigrants are doing? whats the hourly wage rate work out over the period the migrants are there?

, the reality is 99.9% of British farm workers wont do the hard graft
What sort of jobs do you call hard graft ?
I wonder if anyone on here knows how many British farm workers there are in the UK ? so we know how many will do hard graft
perhaps we should find these "few" and congratulate them

Rash statement I think

Note you specifically stated British farmworkers. You did not say unemployed people who turn up for some casual work.

four English turned up once and failed to complete a full morning

And based on this one exeprience and an occasional English chancer you decided that only one in one thousand British farmworkers will do hard graft.

I did not quote anything, so I could not quote a fantasy.

Since the number of farm workers in the UK is near enough to 450,000 you say that there are only 450 in the whole of the UK that are prepared to do "hard graft". That is quoting facts. I will stretch a point and accept that you might mean as many as 455.

Have to say that as a Brit, a worker, and one of many, I found the comment about "most Brits" being "bone idle" insulting, untrue and unnecessary. For Old MacDonald to call the poster stupid was almost a compliment. I could find a few worse words...

The men I had to work for us harvesting leeks and courgettes, became "farm workers" the day they started working in the farm?
I agree about your problem with 99.9%. In my last experiences, between 1995 to 2002, I have to say 100% of males were not up to the job. Only saved in those years by the females. Much better for my last few years with veg though, once I found my Cz army.
How stupid are you? 99.9% is 999 out of every 1,000.

You have made a statement that only one in one thousand British farmworkers will do "hard graft" as you put it. Please go to your next nearest mart, or Ag Workers union meeting and say that in a loud voice. I will not send flowers to you afterwards.

In fact, to make it even easier, tell me where you live. I will find a farmworker who lives nearby and give him and you the same tasks. You beat him and I give you £100. He beats you and you give me £100. I will not be there, but I am sure I can find someone I trust who will be my representative.

Game to try it?
That's a question not an insult, hence the ?
so someone comes on here and insults the vast majority of British farm workers and that seems like its fine with you
But Old Mac asks them a question and its the end of the world it would seem
I wonder why this is ?
perhaps its because @Old McDonald was very pro "leave" when it came to the now historic vote and you have lost a few quid because of that vote

To call someone stupid is an insult.
End of discussion from me. I really can't be bothered with any more of your nonsense ...

This is why gramma is important.
When someone asks "how stupid are you". Yes, it is a question but the question is about the level of stupidity. There is no question about the accusation/assumption that the person is, in fact, stupid. Hence, an insult.
no it was a question
the answer could have been not at all
but you had to make it in to something it wasn't
"how stupid are you".
you even have that bit wrong
Just cos you are bitter don't take it out on everyone else

I am sorry but I do not think you are qualified to tell me what I am , or am not.
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
maybe not but that's the way you come across
you should have voted if you felt so strongly about the EU, still lots of folk found it to much like hard work, a bit like the British farm workers :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
perhaps lots more that couldn't be bothered to vote felt this strongly
