Yes is was moist, and water did stand in the furrows a bit, that is me in the last picture, not the best I have done, and at least I did manage to plough the whole plot, when either side of me could not get grip, and after they got stuck to the fire box, gave over and abandoned the job, and they should ov been better as they had diff lock

Your ploughing must have been very level. The water seems to be a consistent depth all the way up the furrow.
