Would go but having 4 days in a friends Villa in Mabella instead, before all hell breaks out so no.

Spend near enough every day in a tractor why would anyone want to spend a day off watching the fecking things the villa in mabella sounds a better option

There's a serious point here. Back in the 1970's and into the 80's, nearly every farmer had their own silage kit or contractors had trailed foragers. There was an order of magnitude more kit sold every year to every farmer and his dog.
Nowadays it is mainly a game for huge kit that displaces maybe twenty complete outfits that used to need regular replacements, so far fewer units are sold to far fewer customers. Therefore there is far less real interest in these events than there was.
There are still people buying these things of course, so there is a place for such demos, but don't expect the crowds with open chequebooks these days that there once were.

Yup, off on the Wednesday to meet a few clients and have a look at the slurry/muck spreading gear.
Think that's the year I took my boy before he started school .I Remember he was a bit over whelmed by it all !Still plays with tractors though! I also think that may be the year there was no grass !
