Who's looking forward to milking today?

I can't say I've ever specifically noticed one but I drive the beach road several times every day from my house to the dairy. You can take dogs to that beach all year so there are often more dogs than people down there and there's always loads of camper vans because parking is just pulling into the hedge on a dead road so no one kicks up a fuss if people stay over night.

Anyone cleverer than me managed to integrate air conditioning into their parlours?
I have 2 fans going but just blowing warm air around. The guy that milks with me turned volume wash on over his head several times this afternoon to cool down

There is a kit to spray a mist that fits fans, you could rig one up yourself. That should help a lot.

I'm planning on putting a row of fogging nozzles from a greenhouse irrigation system in my parlour. There were some pics a while ago of one with it and it looked ace (and cool).

Yeah milking In this heat is a breeze.
