With people having to keep away, more stuff is being sold via i-bidder.

Who's on it, and is it any good? Anything to look out for, remember, be wary of?

I've brought a few bits through it.

But generally cheaper stuff and simple mechanical bits!

Only bought bits & pieces on it , one thing to be aware of is that if a lot has , for instance 3 minutes to run & you make a bid it can go back up to 10 minutes.

Prices being achieved at online auctions are mental atm up here,does nobody do there homework before a sale,2 this week with some crazy prices paid.

I've used I-bidder quite a bit over the years, along with Bidspotter - mostly where I've not had the time to be present on the day. I never buy sight unseen unless it's cheap stuff.

My one real mistake was some office furniture from a liquidation sale for £10 - the pictures & description implied just a couple of small offices. When I turned up to collect it took two of us a whole day to flatpack it & fill a Luton Transit front to back & floor to ceiling and I still left quite a bit behind.

Small items have more commission a £70 item I bought was £108 with vat and other charges
