And there's the name of our advertising campaign! ! That's genius! !

We'll have a raffle at the show. The prize won't be the usual super duper quad or a years supply of lamb drench, oh no, you'll win a day with Mr Fresh Oxter himself!!!

This is where you come in @ThatsSomeSheep , dressed as Mr Fresh Oxter, suavest man in the Lothians, you treat the lucky winners to a day sightseeing and wining and dining in your company in Edinburgh. We'll get the Scottish Farmer to take smiling pics of the winners with you.

All you have to do is dazzle them with your repartee and witty conversation! !

(Only thing, for the love of God man, keep off the subject of going dogging with the new neebors. .....:nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting::woot::woot:)

I`ve never sent any to the irish, only thing i would do different is burn it if its not needed. I always try and take care of the wool but even the very best price it could make if all cleaned, dry and packed properly is a pittance, that is why standards have probably dropped, people take the attitude that its worth nowt so lets just get on and clip them damp etc.

Cheviot wool can mount up, romney worth lees per kilo but you get alot more tis worth putting in wee but of effort but a lot of breeds hardly worth the hassel as said we getting fleeced as its a great natural sustainable product totally under valued ! one day it might make a come back man made fibers will get too dear unsustainable etc doubt in my time tho.
