Forecast I have seen has less than 40% chance of showers between now and the 10th, yesterday was supposed to be the day but their forecasts were woefully inaccurate as usual

Yes, forecasts 36 hours ago were also showing good chances of rain early next week. Now not. Admittedly it may change. And also back to frosts to see out the month.

Very dry here, I had a field of winter wheat after beet which had a lot of bare patches, capped and low plant numbers in general. Decided to redrill with spring wheat, which isn't looking wise.

First ever crop of hybrid rye is thriving though.

2 mm. Enough to help dissolve the fertiliser that has been sat on the surface for the last 10 days. Spring crop seed sat in the dry has not been reached yet.

With no offence at all intended to sahara, at least my rain gauge with it's 3mm doesn't live in town.
