You might lose more in effluent than you save by picking up straight behind the mower though.
Or Patagonia where they bale at dawn before the dew has a chance to burn off.I thought it strange that silage gets made in NZ in perfect hay weather, until i saw some hay blowing away.
They darent let it get too dry.
Could cart it all in burn woodchips dry it and get rich on the sub perhaps ?longer daylight I thought the sun never came up in Scotland and they used the heat from a candle to dry the grass
I can6 bales can be a load of rubbish .you can't comment unless you have seen the product
no you use woodchips to dry woodchips cos dry woodchips burn better producing more sub and nothing else apart from emissions which the whole idea is to reduce but really such things only increase themCould cart it all in burn woodchips dry it and get rich on the sub perhaps ?
Yes it it don't say a thing as it's not factualI can
We cut a few breaks ahead of the baler and go back to stacking usually incase it rainsAre you that perfect that you never cut any grass and get rain on it before you manage to save it?
You must be truly blessed, a God amongst mere mortal farmers
yes it does and that's a factYes it it don't say a thing as it's not factual
How would you class mine . mixed ryegrass ley 8 bales to the acre wilted to 25% no rainyes it does and that's a fact
better than bossHow would you class mine . mixed ryegrass ley 8 bales to the acre wilted to 25% no rain
Bale alot faster as dryer ,bale alot faster behind the rake as 9m swathe bale quality usually better analysis dryer
less slurry etc etc etc etc
No problem wide pickup never had 17 bales/ acre though but good heavy bales , 40 ft of wheat ok but rye a challenge though good combine driver helps thoughI get what your saying but I'm not sure you'd get a 9m swath of beef cow silage in a round baler?
Perhaps I need to get out more
