Why do we need to have a thread with x number of pages?

Why can all replies not be on the same page regardless of posts?

Would make life that 1 degree easier!

i agree and “infinite scroll” is something we are looking at implementing when we can

It's not in version 2.2 of XF that has just been released. But may well be in XF3. Pages do work better for guests though. For members, the system remembers where you have got to.

Yeah, infinite pages are awful, don't do it. I'm still waiting for the sidebar issue to be sorted out to see how far down a page I'm at on my iPad. Having an ifinite page will make that a bloody nightmare. It's obv been forgotten about?

I’m not sure it’s an issue for many ?

we are currently in a scoping phase for the next UX update that will deliver at some point next year. We will start a thread asking fir user “wish list” at some point soon as part of that scope exercise

Chris had indicated he would bear it in mind a while ago, however insignificant it may be, it's extremely annoying for me hence my asking for a fix.
