Why don't dealers get back to you?!

Are dealers doing that well that they don't have to respond to enquiries. Looking for a New Holland TM, willing to spend between £20,000 - £30,000. I have emailed, rang and text multiple dealers and not one has got back to me! Why bother advertising if they aren't going to respond, or do the tractors just not exist!
Where are you based? Noel mckane answers every time

Crikey. I don't sleep if I think I've got a victim, sorry potential valued customer on the hook. Especially if they're from Yorkshire.
That's probably the difference between Running the business and being a wage slave though
Yes us yorkshire victims have set up a support group, we mostly wander about farmyards looking at old ford tractors, wheels discoveries and mowers?

Quite refreshing to see its not just me that gets ignored by dealers and manufacturers.in the current climate I can see some closing up shop due to farmers not spending and maybe they will then think they could have done better.i can’t say I get what I’d call a reasonable response from any agricultural dealer and the construction boys are just as bad.

Wow, this is an interesting one! I just purchased several New pieces of kit, a baler, tedder and rake.
What an experience that was with the dealerships! I emailed four with the specs I wanted, one got back to me "eventually" I then phoned six dealerships the next day, out of six, only once did I get through to a salesperson, he said, "give me a few minutes I will just pop out to my car and get my laptop it has all the up to date prices and promotions on and I will call you back" Still waiting....
Another dealership a girl/lady answered the phone, I asked for sales, she said she could help, so I asked if she had the three items in stock? she said I will just ask, I heard her ask a colleague, he replied not sure, she then said to me Yes we do! I asked, what is the best price on specific baler, she said I will just check, again she asked a colleague, who said I will have to check, she then said the sales manager is out, I will get back to you! still waiting.............................

I suppose the clever sales people need to be able to sort out the Tyre kickers from the genuinely interested parties. A few dealerships around here only seem to be interested in the big boys, your more likely to get a response from smaller family run business that care, it must be hard selling new tractors today asking the amount they do, at least now they can ware a mask!!

Jeez ..send me the specs you need..It sounds like we could quote and supply from here in NZ quicker !!!!! It beggars belief that salespeople can't get back to you with a price and availability in four hours max..if there's a trade/.. slightly longer

Biggest waste of time is the enquiry system on all the Claas dealer websites where you it invites you to put in your email, phone number, address, trading name etc,to get photos, spec, better description and price. Never had a response yet

One good call back request was off Tama, I filled in the online for requesting Information on twine for a conventional baler, and had a pretty quick answer back.. Great Service Tama.

I think a lot of dealers just use that type of offering as a tyre kicker filter reckoning if you are really interested in something you will phone them to enquire about it.
