Why Labour and Why Now ?

I cannot help but notice how most of the media coverage is about either the failures of Labour & Jeremy Corbyn .. or the 48 Seats won by the SNP has created a "Constitutional Crysis".

Whilst both those subjects are "interesting" I'm far more concerned about the lack of positive media coverage for the Conservatives for over a decade.

BUT I saw a video on the Express showing Kinnock on question time ..

And I then remembered a this video ..

I think the media and "forces unknown" have selected the new emporer. Getting in whilst the iron is hot to force out Corbyn & Momentum. And to these forces .. which I would include the BBC, Channel 4 & 5, Sky .. this is far more important to THEM than their obvious bias and anti democratic actions over the past 3+ years.

Quite shocking IMHO. Just goes to how these media outlets and quangos think THEY drive the narrative despite being told to get lost yesterday.

i honestly thought labour would win. more fool me for listening to social media. if they hadn't stonewalled brexit for the last 2 years, and found a half decent leader ( a commie ira supporter .... really ?? ) they could have won.
why do labour pick such unelectable leaders ? michael foot ? kinnock ? brown ?. tony blair was presentable.....and they won.
gave up watching " have I got news for you last night ". the bias was beyond.

John Brown was about their best choice but, sadly that wasn’t to be

Labour picked the wrong milliband brother and its fell apart since. If Boris turns out half decent the conservatives will be in power for the next 20-30yrs regardless of labours next leader/leaders. Labour still dont get why they lost, one labour women was blaming biased bbc coverage of corbyn:banghead:. BBC should be covering boris today visiting the north in depth but they arent.

I got the impression last night on question time, that young Kinnock knows exactly why they lost

Kinnock junior seems to veer between pretty insightful thoughts, his usual state, and weirdly delusional aspirations. I think he is much brighter than his father and that he is a democrat and, usually, a pragmatist.

But... he does say some odd things sometimes, e.g. last week in an interview he said that the leave voters in the North of England could easily be persuaded to change their views with the 'right' messages... :banghead:

How on Earth can an intelligent fellow come up with a line like that and, more bizarrely, say it publicly? :scratchhead:

perhaps they were going to put the "right" message on a branding iron and persuade them to change their mind
