Wide angle PTO shaft for Claas Rollant 255 Rotocut

Hi, I'm after a PTO shaft for the above baler, the 255 RC , if anyone knows of any breaking or else a good alternative. I'm near Bournemouth. Thanks!

Have you priced a new one up? Just have for a mengele forager and you wouldn't see any change out of £700 an end!

The price of new ones seems horrendous, but I thought I would enquire in case anyone had a burnt out baler they were parting. I have an old RP12 that might be a suitable doner to get me out of trouble as it will be doing the same job

Put up a picture of the shaft that you are looking for, I have several different options

Is it just the tube bent? Possibly get that replaced quite cheaply. My 354 shaft was bent when I bought it and I sat it on two axle stands and belted it straight

The tube is bent and it needs a new cover so I was checking my options as a second hand one might end up quicker and easier than the various new bits.

My best guess from the photos is that your shaft is a Bandioli Pavesi, wide angle SFT series size 6 or S6

The inner tube will cost about £150, and the outer about £100 ,for a meter length.
A safety gaurd from BP could cost about £200 to £300.
Just remember that a new cam clutch like that is £700 plus..
All the above is readily available from Kramp.
Not sure that that profile tube is available in 'copy aftermarket parts '
