This is in the First News Young person's Newspaper this week, they circulate to many schools, libraries and parents subscribe. Regularly have anti livestock articles, seems to be a very vegan led paper, I have tried on occasions to question , correct nonsense articles, they are doing a good job of poisoning young minds. Then we have said eating.better charity's Simon Billing obviously a vegan too.If any body feels like contacting both to correct them then great, The more the better.

I wouldn't worry about what someone puts on twitter
No, it does not influence people, especially the young....

Wake up mate!
Why do you think big brands use people from love Island?
Because lots of sad young ppl follow them on twitter...
New generations live on their phones.
Its why the young get taken in, because they don't read newspapers and proper news, they read shite on twitter and belive it..

Tbh i see more reposted stories about anti meat consumption on this forum than anywhere else. I wouldnt keep worrying yourselves
This publication is weekly in reading rooms of primary school libraries used by school teachers , i woulds say it is pretty worrying that it is weekly smashing us to bits, poisoning young minds with falsehoods, Yes the NFU should be countering stuff like this, If you write to them and explain its wrong they poo hoo it, and carry on, like i have tried as a individual farmer many times, it needs some force of power to give them a bollo....king.

This week's nonsense from the newspaper in many uk school libraries, poisoning young minds against our industry. If this makes you boil like me, and feel helpless as a individual to fight it. If you feel this should be countered by industry representative s ie a NFu etc, somebody with collective clout, and feel very disappointed by those who are supposed to be fighting are corner. Then I suggest that you join the fledgling BRITISH farming Union which is being born on the farming forums, like I have today. You have nothing to lose and hopefully if enough of us support it will grow to have clout for WORKING FARMERS. Spread the word to non forums users, together we have power ,individually we have none.
