To late and I'm not rich enough anyway when you say self cleaning how does it do that?Buy a Range Rover , self cleaning dpf
Take it on a run and give it a good thrashingTo late and I'm not rich enough anyway when you say self cleaning how does it do that?
It's only guna be on 1 mile school run and visit to shops maybe 2 miles for weeks on end seems daft having to thrash em to clean an environmental caring contraption thingy defeats the object doesn't it iv heard now some petrols have particulate filters alsoTake it on a run and give it a good thrashing
Ye iv heard same bloody crap idea did you ever have to replace filter then or did it surviveAvoid DPF on vehicles doing short journeys like the plague. We had a Tiguan and I'd to take it for a thrashing to clear the DPF filter. 10 miles at 50mph to clear it, but I needed to go another 10 miles to find a road to do it on.
No idea really got sick of doing it, had a nother problem with it as well, get a warning to fill with adblue, so I fill with adblue but the warning didn't go away, still had some warranty so the dealer had to sort it the first time, second time it did it we went into lockdown dealer not doing any servive work except for emergency workers, got to the point of having less than 50 miles before going in to limp mode, enough's enough got shut of the car.Ye iv heard same bloody crap idea did you ever have to replace filter then or did it survive
