Possibly not the correct forum but, I'm after getting a ptz cameras in my calving pens in the cow building, it is about 40-50 metres from the farmhouse but the actual calving pens are at the far side another 20 metres or so inside the steel framed building. Has anyone any advice on what bridging units might work over that distance?
I'm thinking that a unit with a sender at the house end and receiver/repeater unit at the building end with wifi ptz at the calving pen would work but I'm not sure what sort to be looking for.
I've also been looking at a 4g camera but I only need it for 3 months of the year so I'm not sure I could get a SIM that I wouldn't be paying for year round but still be value for money for only using the Internet would be worth it or not.
