Pair of these would do the job.
loads of other options on the market
The one at the shed end could be either set just to be a bridge with a cable to a wifi access point nearer the camera or bridge & give a wifi signal. Or you could have a cable from the bridge unit to the camera All depends on your layout
Aye, if it`s a wifi camera 1 unit on the outside of the house, set to give a wifi signal would do it. We have an Engenius 202 to give wifi across the yard & the signal is good for 150m away40 meters is not that far. Is the camera a wifi camera? It would seem to me that if it is a wifi camera then it should be able to pull a signal from 40 meters away. I like the WYZE cameras.
Is this the 15k one!?TP-Link CPE210 Pharos Outdoor 2.4Ghz 9dBi WiFi 4 PoE Access Point (300Mbps N)

Two of these, they will either preconfigure them if you wish, or you can do that but yourself.
I fitted one on my house, one on my grainstore , put an old router in there, now got 30mbps broadband there.
Shopping list.
A pair of ptp bridge units.(running mine on the poe injector it came with)
A pair of mounts.
A router.
Ethernet cable to plug router in to the ptp.
You also need a cable from Poe injector in the barn to the router if that's how you wish to do it. Or plug the camera straight into the injector ethernet port to save the router, but while you're at it you may as well set up the WiFi there.
Couple hundred quid all in.
Hello, could someone recommend a suitable WiFi bridge to get WiFi to a shed about 40 m away from the house. It's to run a camera for lambing.
Many thanks Tom
Engenius 202 settings show option of 1 to 30kmIs this the 15k one!?
It will.do up to 15km apparently, if configured appropriately. Is this the 15k one!?
You could use powerline adapters without needed line of sight. Plug one in with router and plug through one at socket where camera is powered. Cost about £30 no skills needed.
That only works if both ends are on the same phase - Often different buildings take their power from different phases of a 3 phase supply to help balance the loading....You could get lucky though and it would be worth a try.
The marmite solution. Folk seem to either love em or hate themYou could use powerline adapters without needed line of sight. Plug one in with router and plug through one at socket where camera is powered. Cost about £30 no skills needed.
Not generally recommended to run Cat5 more than 100mDo you have power in the shed? You could run cat5 cable from your router. Can buy box's of 300meters for 50 or 60 quid.
