Need to get a wifi signal into the next building. Can't lay a cable and power is on a separate circuit so needs to be wifi.
I think I need a wireless bridge and another wifi router.

Can you buy ready made 'plug and play' kits or have I got to buy a bridge and a router and set it all up myself? Main hub is the new style bt homehub

Not sure if they work with all bt Hubs but I use something called bt wf-fi discs. Mine are approx 80m apart and work well but not sure what it would be like with 2 shed inbetween

Only need to go 200ft but 2 brick buildings with steel roofs in the way, will they affect it?
Any brand you recommend?
Can I just plug one into the homehub and away I go?
Eerro I think it's spelt from Amazon. Try them if it don't work sent them back

We have one of these from the house to the farm yard. Took a bit of head scratching to set up but works well

We have a ?Ubiquiti? version off to the calving camera in another direction.

If I had them could I plug then into the Dlink 4g router we’re using in that building? Now we’ve got fibre I’d like it all on one network and save the 4g costs

Have a chat with the support boys at Solwise https://www.solwise.co.uk/wireless-outdoor-bridging.htm
They will advise.

We have these https://www.solwise.co.uk/wireless-outdoor-bridging-el-ens202ext.html from them..

Works well.

From your BT router you would have a cat5 cable to the 1st unit mounted with reasonable line of sight to the 2nd unit

The 2nd unit just needs a power supply. Would be set to talk to the 1st unit & also transmit a WiFi signal in your second building

If you struggle to position it to do both jobs then get the connection across the yard right then cable to a Wifi extender within the building

It is possible, depending on layout & obstructions that one unit mounted in a suitable place ( externally & high up ? ) could send a WiFi service into your 2nd building

I`ve no connection with Solwise, just find them good to deal with
