Looking to try some min till cultivation after discing some land, been looking at some cultivators at the cheaper end of the scale. Which of the above cultivators is best?
My last lot came from Pan Anglia. Mine has a level harrow on the back.Have had a willrich for a long time and think it is a good tool, can leave it a bit loose behind.
We made a following harrow to level out the ridges it creates, but cheap tool to run.
Agree with post above, finding springs now almost impossible, as they do break now and again, would be interested if any one knows where you can get some.

I fitted that type on one of our pigtail drag, it cost us a fortune in new tines! Fine on light stuff but no good on heavy. We have a 4.5m Cousins with closer spaced and narrow points which does a better job. Depth wheels on the front help a lot as well. I'd love a trailed 5 row pigtail, with narrow spacing and narrow points but plenty of clearance for trash.View attachment 578268tjis is the type of point we use on a pig tail 13 tines across 3 meter seems to move most of the ground
