deadline approaching...my fwag advisor gone awol  ........questions....do you mark 'rotational options' on the 'options map'?.....i don't think you do:scratchhead:.....i only have rotational options so this map will be blank:scratchhead:

it's a simple application...i don't need a land ownership form.....it's not asking for any other 'evidence'.......what else if any do i need to submit?:scratchhead:

I think rotational options are just declared on the annual claim form against which parcel you are using that year. So I would agree they don't need to go on the options map for the application, you will declare them next May.

Have you done the farm environmental record map? I.e. marking soil erosion risks and run off. I think you need to do that and apart from that they should tell you if anything else is required before submission.

The whole idea in those offers is they are meant to be simple to improve uptake. Well as simple as the RPA and NE can get 😂

 only got til close of play friday m8......unless you're techy i suppose:scratchhead:

You have to submit an options map showing fields where you could site rotational options or have hedges etc you want to include.
Print two maps off, one for the environmental record ,and one for the options
Fill in using the colour key provided Hope this helps

When you say "rotational options" do you mean like an a AB15 type thing?
And you dont think that needs marking on the map?

Also can I have two options on same parcel. Thinking Ab15 on part of a parcel but want buffer strip on the other part of the parcel. I assume not

my understanding is that rotational options don't need marking so yes.......of course you can have different options on same parcel as long as there's room

i think what that means is you include all parcels you may want to rotate on......that then gets printed out twice....once to complete a FER and again for an options map to mark non rotation options....on the application you'll have allocated parcels to the rotational options

Why would you not mark it yellow for AB?

So on annexe 1 I have shown all fields i might want to consider for rotational over the 5 yrs.
Do i then do the same parcels in Annexe 2 and mark them rotational and ab15 etc even if they wont be in it for the first half of the 5 ur agreement?
Obviously my yearly £££ would look to be v high on their calcs

My turn to ask for advice. Cos i'm confusing myself and the guidance doesn't seem that great. Filling in the online application. Declared all land parcels I want included in the application. So for rotational options want say 10ha AB6 rotated around the farm. So why does it give me fields to fill this in on? Because I would only specify location in my annual claim. I don't see why this section has land parcels in at all? I don't even know which fields I might want to fallow in autumn 2022 but I know I want 10ha IFUSWIM? Obviously I can fill in the land parcels for buffers etc but I just don't understand why the land parcels are included in this section. Any help gratefully received.
