Geese are so determined about it.
Seems attractive to park a dog on the field, border collie seems like a nice choice... Not sure what a designed for geese Larsen trap with trailing/trialling border collie might look like - but give me some time and I might come up with something.

You could always pop round and run up and down a bit in the field. :)

It has been a bumper year for the wild garlic in the “wildlife friendly “, (overgrown and unkempt ! ), patch of garden next to the drive. I was very surprised to find this leveret hiding in amongst it yesterday, just a few yards from the back door.
I have seen an adult hare in the yard a couple of mornings at first light lately, this must be the reason.

Think you misunderstand my modus operandi - the dog does the running, I do the the watching and overseeing. Think grain growing rather than animal wrangling :)
