Will a tractor tip an artic bulker?

Looking to buy a couple of ex lorry bulkers to store seed/odds in. Will a farm tractor (puma) be able to tip it? Im assuming that there wont be enough hydraulic capacity?
If this is the case is there a hydraulic system that we could mount to the dolly? Could go down the donkey engine route I suppose.

You could use a pto gear box and pump arrangement like they have on a hedge cutter. Then mount the tank and spool valve on the dolly. That will be cheaper than a hyd motor - pump set. You will need to know what flow and pressure is required to tip the trailer before you start buying parts.

On my sandwich year we used a Ford 3000 with a pto driven hydraulic pump which was plugged into articulated bulkers to tip them independently to the towing tractors. The fendt 309 would tip the 20t trailer but not the bigger one in the last picture.
Looking back at my placement year it's a wonder I didn't get locked up for overloading 🤔
Fortunately I spent many happy hours on the Fendts 309LSA and 614.LSA. The turboclutch took a bit of getting used to but they pulled well.
The tanker weighed in at 35t on its own full of liquid nitrogen.

I spent several days lugging muck with the 20t trailer. Barn doors were a new concept to me.

It was a bit hairy tipping off on soft ground.

25t of wheat in this one.

Back when we had the family farm, we had a couple of converted trailers like above, just used to make sure the tractor was over full with back end oil when we went on muck cart, I can only remember one problem and that was student error, he lost the trailer off the hitch while tipping and drove back to the farm to tell dad, obviously all of his oil was still in the trailer, one gearbox rebuild later......🙄

Tipping an artic trailer with barn doors on a dolly might be okay, but not sure I would want to tip an artic trailer with a top hung door loaded with wheat on a dolly as can see the dolly being pulled up in the air as the weight of the wheat is transferred onto the rear door if using the hatch, I'm sure a lot of us have seen the rear end of tractors picked up by silage trailers?

I think most tractors would struggle to tip a trailer right up. Fine on dry grain but a damp load would be difficult with using the tractors own hydraulic system. It can also be a little dodgy on a standard dolly.
converted a couple of 6 wheelers and they take far more oil than standard farm trailer, as pressure on lorries is far lower.

I’ve a dolly and bulker with donkey engine and tip through grain hatch, and it’s never even offered to lift dolly up

I don't like dolly/5th wheel trailers. Makes me cringe just seeing them. I can't reverse them for toffee- my brain can't handle it. Can't reverse wholecrop headers on a trolley either because they are just the same. Alright on main roads but meet a car on a narrow country lane and I'd be fudged.

just have to go slow, easier on a telescopic
