Time for another quick update.
The family member who had the stroke had everyone gathered round for switching off life support. Plug was duly pulled and..... nothing happened. Kept breathing. This lasted a good few very upsetting to the elderly relatives days and they have now died. No funeral yet though.
They have however been replaced by yet another relative who is driving me to distraction with demands to fix their house roof.
I am beginning to get the true meaning of dependency ratio. I should add that they are vastly better off than me and can easily buy another house let alone fix a roof.
Oh and the one on palliative care is still hovering in the background. Fun times eh?
