That’s a stupid answer. If you were Hancock or boris ( first name, then last name? ) what would you do? I’m fed up to back teeth of people that think they could better yet won’t give any ideas
I’m with you @Robt .its a big learning process for everyone involved and people health is the priority.i think Boris is doing a good job under the circumstances. but of course everyone knows better

We've hugely increased the numbers of tests being administered and therefore seen an increase in the numbers of positive results.

However there hasn't yet been an increase in the numbers of deaths.

So on that basis I'd give it another couple of weeks to check that mortality numbers don't rise seriously, and then reopen everything and remove all restrictions from Monday 12th October.

Hand sanitizer use promoted, people may wear masks if they wish, if you show symptoms or test positive the government pays your wages whilst you isolate for 2 weeks.

So you don't see any connection with heath and money then? without a fully functioning economy there will be no health service and not only that if people end up on the streets as they have lost their jobs/ home etc that this wont affect their health?

At least 20k people will now die from cancer that shouldn't have, another 10k have gone blind/ at least another 15k with heart problems etc will die that shouldn't have, the list goes on and on!

Boris has made an utter shambles of handling the virus, all went wrong when he defended Cummins breaking the rules but of course given that Boris himself was also breaking the rules at the same time he had no option but to defend Cummings!

I do see the connection but what is the answer.its a big learning process for all involved.we need people back at work for the economy of the country but if workers catch it from others it’s putting more strain onto the nhs.we all have to be sensible but far too many are not.

Good. Virtual events aren't my thing.

mine either. But they are good to accompany a show, allows you to see what is going on at shows in other countries or when there are two on one day. There are quite a few shows in the states and Australia I’d love to attend virtually since getting there is impractical.

Lamma as a B2B in a venue that can assist in Covid distancing regs and lower footfall then a County Show there is a chance it can go ahead

I cannot see re-scheduled Eurotier or Pig and Poultry happening due to Covid, ASF and Brexit concerns

I'm sure there will be many disappointed regarding the news about Lamma, both trade and visitors, but hardly surprising given the current state of the Covid restrictions. Interesting date to reschedule it in May, there could be a lot of shows in May and June very close to one another date wise. If it still happens on the proposed dates it will be interesting to see how the trade pick which shows to attend as exhibitors.

In a best case scenario where Lamma is allowed to go ahead in May I can’t see covid being confined to history by then and as such if I was to be faced with the choice of an outdoor or an indoor show then I’d certainly pick the outdoor one.

I suspect we'd all collectively agree that an outdoor show would be much more preferable at that time of year, I guess the organisers will be contractually obligated to hold it at its proposed location, if as you say, it goes ahead.
