McHale pick up tines are lot thicker than welger ones which break quite easily I'm sure I read somewhere that they will fit but I thought I'd check before going out and buying some

Welger HD tines are a pain in arse to fit with standard nut and bolt. Need one with Allen key head. Standard welger tines are shite I ve done 10k bales with Mchale and not replaced a tine.

Lets start a competition!
I have put 19700 through my McHale and it still has all its original pick up tines. In fact everything is still 100 % original.
28672 through my JD 578 mastercut :)

Most tines been replaced. All chains. A roller. Stripper frame rebuilt (twice). Two feed rotor rings re welded (third one needing done). Bottom three roller bearings replaced. Feed roller drive bearings replaced...... Still makes a lovely shaped bale......

Am I missing something about this competition?
