I wouldn’t want to be playing for Chelsea today
Maybe they shouldn't, and just sit it out on the pitch 🤔 The more worldwide publicity the better I should think.
The world is going to be a whole different place once Putin takes Kiev, and he will given time (I wish it otherwise!!). He's still in power, no-ones removed him yet or likely to anytime soon. The "where's he going next & how close is his finger from the button" will continue. We need his country ashamed enough to force his demise, unfortunately a tad harder than shifting a Bozzer...

Simply because without the help of the West they are going to be slaughtered by a lunatic who can’t afford to lose face!
Ironic really considering its west medaling thats riled the lunatic, i doubt the west will help, they have been played by us and the yanks, weak leader in ukraine has allowed all kinds to go on in that country ranked 9th in the world corruption , like i have said several times its the innocent civilians on all sides i feel for , let down by dodgey politicians crime corruption etc they dont deserve to be pawns in this game.

Did you know ukraine have been bombing civilians for 7 years , and harbouring nazis ? No neither did i, look and thall shall find . Were you aware ukraine is rates number 9 in most corrupt country in the world ? Nor me, the civilians on all sides i feel for .

Some huge problems , this war when hooefully won by ukraine must be only regarded as the battle , the next battle has to be all the corruption, if they dont get a hand on all the crap that goes on their it will escalate in the future to more conflict .

No doubt, but the locals all knew (unsurprisingly) when everyone’s cars rolled up to Blockley. ;) The country house was owned by the Spencer Churchill family at the time.
The Gloucestershire redoubt will have been a backup location in case London became too dangerous, but Churchill preferred to stay in London as much as possible. The Cabinet War Rooms (now known as the Churchill War Rooms) were built in the basement of what was known as the New Public Office in Whitehall, which is now known as the Treasury Building.

Zelensky won the presidency on an anti-corruption ticket & was at first stymied by the Parliament, so he forced a snap election which his party won, again majoring on anti-corruption & resolving the issues in the east. The problem is that cleaning such a mess doesn't happen overnight. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian media is heavily influenced by the Ukrainian oligarchs who stand to loose out from his reforms and have been relatively hostile towards his presidency, so Zelensky has had to make heavy use of social media to counter the hostile main stream media.

Churchill was a journalist covering the Boar War and was captured 2 weeks after arriving in SA. He managed a dramatic escape with the Boars putting a bounty of £25 on him dead or alive.
