Well just seen B52 pop out the clouds on approach to Fairford, not sure if it was one of the four already here or additional. Not on flightracker 24 like the others were!

This post does not sound determined or sad. It is very angry and vengeful . That kind of thinking is fine if you are Ukranian but useless if you are not.
I agree that this is a disaster for everyone. Unlike you I do not wish for more death and destruction- for anyone ,Russian or Ukranian. I cannot imagine how this will end. It is a tragedy.

Unlike you, I realise thoughts & prayers won't help Ukrainians stop Russian tanks, while Javelins, NLAW's and other weapons certainly will. Keep on accepting your own thoughts rather than what people are telling you directly.

Putin and Biden are the only two who can really sort this out. They need to get around a table, even if it has to be Putin's massive one.

Which would give Putin legitimacy and bolster his support. Let him swing in the wind, it's time for Russians to remove him. I think it's the wrong move to make to give in to his nuclear threat. The world was under threat for half of the last century and we're still here.

They will stop russian tanks in the short term, but they will lead to deaths of many more Ukranians in the longer term. The more Western weapons we supply the more lethal force he'll order his generals to use. I'd rather we loaded the planes with medical supplies and necessities etc this week, as that's what there running out of.

The more defeat heaped on Russia, the less standing Vlad the mad has. In his dictatorship, that is dangerous for him. To be seen as failing, to be seen as weak. Projection of fear is what allows him act like this. Standing up to those threats is how to defeat him, and don't kid yourself, he has to go, or it's just a matter of time before he starts killing more people, be that in Ukraine or another country. Vlad had a plan, but like Mike Tyson said, everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the face.

I'm not saying he doesn't have to go. The blokes a pansy. The trouble is the russian war machine isn't going to back off. Look at the shelling today. Unless we are actually going to commit to putting troops on the ground then he will turn the place into dust. The more missiles we send the more buildings he'll flatten. I admire the ukranians. They should fight with all they've got, but I'm afraid there's going to come a point where its just not enough. Someone put on earlier that Zelensky looked pretty shaken on telly. Perhaps the thought that's going through his mind now is how many people have to die before we surrender because the wedt isnt going to save us. It sounds absurd, but it's reality. The Russians won't stop now. They can't stop. Like you've said, and I agree, vlad can't be seen to give up.

Oh yes, much better!!! The U2 popped out of cloud about 20 mins after. This one has the radar pod on top of the fuselage and the two wing tanks.
I know there are two U2’s at Fairford one with and one without the pod. They’ve been here some time.
East wind so I’m on final turn of approach
