i dont grow crops but as said in another thread i would love to get the 3 competing feed suppliers feeds properly analysed so i actually know what in em and which is best

thinking i might slim my flock down....but keep ewe lambs...keep/kill these depending on price jan....throw in beltex tup in jan if feed situation better than thought
last yr my 10 ac of stewardship low input barley did 17t....this yr 3t
home mixing is ok if you can get cheap protein...i was buying mvf multimix 30% pellets to mix at circa £390t....mixing it 2-1 for fattening ,3-1 for ewes...barley/pellets... cost sort £160-£180t
home mixing not going to much of a cheaper option TBH
currently supposedly using midland feeds mixed nuts 18%....first bag they sent was cereal blend....second bag was excellent....third bag has to much dust...£230t delivered
