Norway has always adopted a different approach to the UK when it comes to Oil Revenues - or rather once Mrs T came to power we adopted a different approach to Norway.

There is no opportunity to adopt a Norwegian style approach on existing fields although it might be possible to squeeze some more revenue and we are well on to the reverse slope of the bell curve for production and therefore revenue.

Spoke to a lad today who works in oil, and he said that at above $100/barrel there is a huge mass of oil in the north sea, but it's too deep to drill at less than that price.
