what happens if they have another and its the same again, (i did find it very amusing when she was grilled about this on one of the early tv debates!)

all i ever here is that from her, i dont think ive ever heard any domestic issue she has raised for scotland

Who cares in all honesty.

To be honest, I do in a round about sort of way - as it just adds to problems, as we will then have Wales doing it - which then creates a Mini EU on this little Island.

I suppose the best part is though, they will have to take all the low skills immigration workers rather than our trying to use points base structure to fit in with EU.

Has it really been the making of Ireland? I thought it was in a bit of trouble a few years ago?

I didn't realise that border idea was a fantastic idea either..... Will it improve relations between England and Scotland if they go the same way, if it will, just need to build that bloody wall again ?

Why, (and please note, I'm not meaning to be rude in any way towards you), but if you fluff the pillow - you never learn from errors.

If she so strongly believes she can make a financial go of it, and having had to endure all the bravado she has put on the table many times - just do it without any safety net.
Then when she comes back cap in hand, we can tell her to jog on for the additional unrest and personal pain she is perpetuating upon others simply to fuel her own ego..

My point to our local MSP before the 2014 referendum was that if they can make the case for being able to run the country competently and successfully, then they would get my vote. It didn't happen. There's instead been 5 years of empty vessels making a lot of noise, whilst our administration pontificates and prevaricates over pointless constitutional nonsense, nit picking minor details in clouds of faux outrage.

If you're starting a business, then you need a business plan, with costings. We got "Scotland's Future" - a bigger fairytale than Nessie.

In the interim, they've handled Police Scotland and the fire service brilliantly, merging all the regional forces into all consuming Strathclyde- centric aberrations which immediately became VAT liable, till Hammond sorted it out. But it's great coz now the cars have "Polis Alba" instead of "Police" printed on them.

We've got dual language road signs in an area where Gaelic was last spoken by some woman up a glen over 140yrs ago.

She can take her referendum and shove it up her prickly arse.

That has to be one of the best posts for ages.. ?

I often looked for Bessie whilst up the road, although I prefer taking it easy on the Eastern shores of Loch Lomond

Easily said when your career will carry on regardless o.

I don't think its easier at all. Everyone will be impacted, it's just how one choses to deal with the deck played.
Like many, I could lose my job tomorrow, but I am not blaming anyone for it, it's life.

As for Farming, the same - it is a business, if the kitchen is too hot, get out and find something less stressful, or fight your corner.

Tin hat on....

Firstly I voted leave and for Boris yesterday so I have no agenda. I'm more than happy that Brexit will finally get done.

Fair enough some of Corbyns policies were ridiculous, but I can't understand the level of personal hate for him amongst farmers?

He was proposing to help the less off in society and spend more on education and OUR NHS. He was proposing to invest in more green energy resulting in more £ for farmers. Is that such a bad thing?

In honesty us farmers should be more fearful after yesterdays events. As a result of Corbyns demise Boris and his young vegan bride will have absolutely no opposition towards introducing new more radical agricultural policies, how will that be good for us?

In a weeks time Corbyn will be sitting with Boris having a cup of tea and a scone behind closed doors, its politics nothing more gentleman. They have known each other for decades. So the cheers of joy on here from the Daily Mail readers seem quite ridiculous.

Reserve your anger for the likes of Tony Blair and Jimmy Saville.

if this was how the result could have been, surely it would have made another 3 yrs of stalemate ?
I fully accept our voting rules are not ideal, but it pretty well stops any coalitions, which, to be honest, hasn't been successful for the last 2 ! However brutal it seems, as you look around the world, and how long it takes, in some countries, to attain a coalition, and how it fudges forward movement and progression, I think that it actually is a bonus.

Where was the land tax? I'm not aware of that sorry.

I only learnt that Mr Johnsons new filly is a vegetarian earlier today, surely that can't be good for us when she will be mingling with the London vegan crew?

his policies became more desperate as the day neared. And, yes, some of these policies sounded great, the question is, how would he fund them ? Once he had used up available money, borrowed up to the hilt, the only money left would be increased taxes. And as farmers are usually asset rich, but cash poor, and are not popular with the vegan/veggie/ rebellion extinction, we could have been an easy target !
