The ERG group wont be able to help themselves from rocking it.
Let's see who he picks in the new cabinet , that'll give a good indication of his mood .

If Boris gets the deals done , we'll do very little with the EU
I've just had an interesting conversation with a fairly knowledgeable and well-connected chum, and a point was raised by him that is pretty obvious, but which hadn't occurred to me.
There are 65 or so members of the ERG (plus some non-members who vote with them) who were returned to Parliament in the GE, you know, the GE in which Boris got an 80 seat majority. These are people who sat in the last Parliament and are back for more.
That same GE brought in 47 new seats, and members, to the PCP as well as other new members replacing retirees and defectors - such as Monsieur Dominic Grieve. And CCHQ has >35 of its new MPs as supporters of a hard Brexit, i.e. happy to walk away, if a deal doesn't seem acceptable to them.
That puts the total number of Conservative MPs who would favour a harder Brexit at, at least, the hundred mark. Which is more than Boris's 80 seat majority...
She had to get Police protection at the 2018 Labour Party conference.I don't mind listening to Professor Kuenssberg's daughter , and I don't really get that she's biased. Another web site I'm on want her eviscerated as a Tory party stooge. I suppose it's all depends on how ones own prejudices resonate.
First UK is not trading with the EU, but the individual countries as members of a grouping called the EU. I pedantic but essential point. Second a grouping of 400million consumers a few kms and an hour or two from the UK with similar tastes, custons and culture with which there are upteen decades of close co-operation within manufacturing and service industries.
And you say 'we'll do very little with the EU.
I know you are a wind up merchant and a pee taker, but if you believe even an eensy weensy bit of that statement and you are typical of the Leave Tory then goodness help
It wont show much."Outside the tent p!ssing in",or "inside p!ssing out" and all that.Let's see who he picks in the new cabinet , that'll give a good indication of his mood .
Look . let's just agree from now on we're trading partners with the EU not part of an intergrated Europe , we joined the EEC not a federalist state .It wont show much."Outside the tent p!ssing in",or "inside p!ssing out" and all that.
Cummings is the one, hes Durham born and said "Austerity was a mistake as it came down to hard" and the nobs in London did not have a clue about the needs up north"You have got it wrong.Johnson is trying to emulate Blair, and will have his eyes on 3 election victories.Blair said many times after Johnson was elected leader of the Tories that there would only be one winner between him and Corbyn. They have alot in common, and can read the public mood well, although Johnson gets his information from the Wheeler family. Both of them happy to brown nose the respective American presidents.
Ooh , we have hit a nerve haven't we . calm yourself or move to Scotland .
Ive already written this in two posts, without any inside knowledge.Hindsight has already worked it out as well.If Johnson comes back with his BRINO,the ERG group will make him toast. It would be the height of amusement and irony,if the 100 strong ERG voted it down because it is not hard enough.I've just had an interesting conversation with a fairly knowledgeable and well-connected chum, and a point was raised by him that is pretty obvious, but which hadn't occurred to me.

You are possibly right, but i dont know enough about the ET lookalike.Cummings is the one, hes Durham born and said "Austerity was a mistake as it came down to hard" and the nobs in London did not have a clue about the needs up north"
Rod tip dipped, struck and, yes, have a bite! I will promise to throw you back after landing and netting!!
Ah, you're a paranoid lefty conspiracist then.A population being manipulated by a powerful minority against their better interests.
Yes, he has the mandate and the numbers. I see no need to do more or less.Define hard Brexit
Boris has said what he wants , he will stick with that i believe , why rock the boat when things are going well
Apologies, I missed those, I've not seen it enumerated anywhere. As I wrote before, I think it will come back a bit harder than its current incarnation, but not quite as hard as the ERG would like.Ive already written this in two posts, without any inside knowledge.Hindsight has already worked it out as well.If Johnson comes back with his BRINO,the ERG group will make him toast. It would be the height of amusement and irony,if the 100 strong ERG voted it down because it is not hard enough.

I would be amused by the irony of it all. That after getting rid of the remainer MPs blocking the deal,he could find an empowered ERG group vote it down.Ah, you're a paranoid lefty conspiracist then.

Surprised you, being all doom, gloom & negative spin, would be amused by no deal.
All the Tory MP's have signed up to Boris's crappy exit treaty .I would be amused by the irony of it all. That after getting rid of the remainer MPs blocking the deal,he could find an empowered ERG group vote it down.
If you're happy so am I .
All the Tory MP's have signed up to Boris's crappy exit treaty .
How could he stop them though? Remove the whip from 100 of them? All the Tory MP's have signed up to Boris's crappy exit treaty .
Surely the Nordic energy in the main comes from Hydro and energy from waste which is far more efficient than ours.Is that true? I thought your energy consumption was greater per capita?
Pre nuptial agreementHow could he stop them though? Remove the whip from 100 of them?
