Broadcasting on rolling stops it going too deep.
harrow after ensures better seed to soil contact .
thats set up well , with the rain weve had today
Amazing how quick they away , timing is everything with getting brassica going , going to redoo mine on Fri, been in 3 weeks and only first splash of rain today but its to late and thistles are away 🙄

Had 3 weeks of cold drought after sowing
Minimise Risk is the way forward by conserving moisture

We've still had feck all rain. I drilled the last of my grass seeds on Monday ready for it. I guess the seeds will still be sat there if it does ever rain..... :banghead:
It's been like that here for 3 week , when the rains came them went either side of us , until yest afternoon when there must have been a month worth in 15 min and down the drain it goes 🙄

Very impressed how this has turned out for one of my customers, field was sprayed off, rotaspiked, flat rolled before I sowed it with the Guttler Greenmaster. Half of the field was not rotaspiked as it broke with him but no difference at all to be seen. Pictures were taken today, 6 weeks post seeding
