With wheat at below the cost of production for many at the moment is anyone thinking about dropping this treatment this year, or is it not worth dropping t0
The experts forecasted a coldest November / December on record at the end of October ! They really haven't got a clueIf we get this Arctic February they all promise it will have a big influence
Do you guys ever apply fungicide pre the winter ?..to help septoria etc...while you can't travel...
What's stages are crop ATM?
Ant..
We've done work in the past on early September-sown Consort and even that didn't respond to an autumn or pre-T0 spray. Do you have Septoria nodorum or tritici? Here tritici is fairly slow growing so not difficult to keep on top of in early spring even if sprays are late.Do you guys ever apply fungicide pre the winter ?..to help septoria etc...while you can't travel...

I thought it was just me! I have seen a lot of yellow rust in KWS Lili compared to other varieties with lower ratings. Has it broken down already or will we see an improvement later on?If it stays mild then this Yellow rust in Lilli is going to need a T0 ,along with high Septoria pressure everywhere and some cyper is going to be needed as no bydv applications have been made other than seed treatments,
It does depend on what the weather has in store though.....View attachment 261330
