Bumpity bump.

Does anyone know what axles they use on the Lightspray? I've been offered a runner with issues. :(

Thanks.
They always have issues I might have some axles left in my metal recycling area best we ever did was cut ours up if you have one you need another one for spares

They are Italian axles. The name of which currently escapes me..

From my experience there are two types of axle. 1048's and some 1548's have the smaller axle with half shafts that can break easily under heavy/ aggressive loads..

Some 1548's have the heavier duty type with thicker halfshafts.. I've not broken one yet !!

Got a few spare lighter duty axles but never found any more heavy duty other that what came on my original machine ..

EMME' axles I think they are.. still going and I believe you can get parts of you are willing to buy a few !
I,m in Devon and looking for a rear diff' for my Lightspray 1048. Can you help please ?

Resurrecting this thread, does anybody know what driveshaft the 1048 has?

Would it be a standard something from an escort, or purpose built....

Driveshaft as in prop shaft, or axle half shaft ? ?
That I'm not sure, it's one for auction, just says drive shaft so I assumed Prop shaft. I'm wondering if it's worth the ten hour drive for a look.

Only want it to convert to a work/fencing vehicle around the farm, so not after anything expensive.
