Does anyone know what axles they use on the Lightspray? I've been offered a runner with issues.

They always have issues I might have some axles left in my metal recycling area best we ever did was cut ours up if you have one you need another one for spares

Forgot to say quaife has something to do with the axles but pretty much based on ford components

Quaife were the gearbox and drop box manufacturer’s for the willmot,as has been said above the axels was emme

That’s it the rear axle had a limited slip diff just way under powered and under braked

They are Italian axles. The name of which currently escapes me..

From my experience there are two types of axle. 1048's and some 1548's have the smaller axle with half shafts that can break easily under heavy/ aggressive loads..

Some 1548's have the heavier duty type with thicker halfshafts.. I've not broken one yet !!

Got a few spare lighter duty axles but never found any more heavy duty other that what came on my original machine ..

EMME' axles I think they are.. still going and I believe you can get parts of you are willing to buy a few !

That I'm not sure, it's one for auction, just says drive shaft so I assumed Prop shaft. I'm wondering if it's worth the ten hour drive for a look.

Only want it to convert to a work/fencing vehicle around the farm, so not after anything expensive.
