Windhager / pellet boiler store and suction clean

Does anyone have any advice on how to clean a pellet boiler suction system. I have an 8ft blow and suck hose between the windhager internal hopper and the store. It seems to be working over hard at the moment. I took the top off the hopper and you can see down into it but a wire stops you lifting it right out. I could feel the grill on the bottom of the lid was quite bunged up with dust but can’t get at it. Is it also important to occasionally hoover out the long tubes? Where does all the dust end up? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

you don't make it clear if you talking about the main hopper of the day hopper, how are the pellets removed from the main hopper, is it a short auger and then vacuum takes over, or is it a suction cup in the main hopper. with these main hoppers you need to clean out the excess dust occasionally, in the day hopper there should be a gauze covering the return pipe to stop pellets from passing through the suction turbine, this gauze can get blocked, have a careful look at the main suction pipe, ( not the air return) where you have a bend look on the outside of the bend for splits in the pipe caused by the pellets eating away at the inside of the pipe destroying the vacuum

Thanks, it was the day hopper I was talking about. Sorry for not being clear, the big store is a store not a hopper so I don't think of it as one. It is all vacuum.
We worked it out in the end, there was some rockwool (don't ask) blocking the gauze on the return pipe as you mentioned. The problem is removing this part on the Windhager seems really hard as it is attached by a wire to a flap inside the day hopper. There is no obvious way we could see to unhook this wire so you have very limited space to do any work / clean it properly. Ten years in the pipe looks in good knick. Thank you for your thoughts and help.

Make sure the day hopper seal is sound, I saw one that was sucking all day because the seal was was leaking, also check the pipe bends for air holes, air ingress kills the concept
