Winter Barley yields 2021

So i see quite a few combines are rolling now in the uk ? how’s it yielding so far ?

would be helpful to others to add some context - variety, location and areas etc maybe ?

Cut 60ha yesterday afternoon about 7t on trailer weighers. On some better land today which is yielding more I think looking at telematics. Electrum malting.

Just about finished our bit. Good old Cassia looked a better sample than the new to me KWS Hawking . Cassia more straw, but it was so hot doing the Hawking that I think the straw was a bit brittle .moisture below 13%.

I’d guess both doing 3 ton acre. Cut back on N as both looked well and had pig muck under them and prefer standing barley , One thing I’ll say is how clean it all is. Non of it had any pre harvest roundup, and the stubbles are clean as a whistle .

👍. Only a couple of weeks ago you reckon it might be August before starting.
