Winter beans post em herbicide

Beans have beaten my pre em spray. I'm mad with myself. Drill guy told me they were in 6 or 7 inches. Turns out it's nearer 3. Went to have a look today with a view to spraying tomorrow and there's 40 -50 % emerged. Gonna drop the kerb but I'm tempted to go with the clomazone. Agronomist seems to think it will bleach them a little but they should grow away, a bit like osr. Probably have to go with crawler later and possible graminicide if necessary.
Any thoughts??

I was hoping someone was going to say they had done it with no crop side effects. Rather frustrating that crawler is more expensive than kerb and and pendimethalin doesn't do as good a job.

crackers that we cant use kerb post em when the French can on label
If its on the label in France then it suggests that it is a legal rather than a crop health requirement over here and anyone 'accidentally ' going post em won't actually harm the crop.

Pendimethlin is pre em and helps with BLW, so is in addition to rather than instead of kerb here. Not sure what it would be like post em. Defy is also pre-em only and I’m not sure if crop safety. I don’t rate crawler very much.

I sprayed some wheat that had volunteer beans with pdm at the weekend. They will probably all survive. But if I use it post em on my bean crop I can guarantee it will kill everyone.

Please dont spray Kerb on Beans post-em.
did it a few years ago, knackered them. a few survived but field yielded 20% of others.
youve been warned.
Thanks for advice...
So how do the French use it post em without damage?Different varieties?
Looks like I'll be using Crawler later on.

As I have said on here before Kerb (and other generic propyzamide) can only be applied from 2 to 6 leaves on winter beans in France. It is not allowed pre emergence. I have often wondered if its a climate thing as it would be much too warm to apply kerb at the moment here.

I have used clomazone on beans just visible and it hit them very hard, but they got over it. No idea if it hit the yield.

I have also used and had good results from 1 litre/ha of Nirvana on beans that have two to four leaves visible and it works out cheap too!

We have a product here called Corum which is 480 g/L bentazone and 22.4 g/L imazamox. (its expensive). Its the standard post emergence spray it you miss the pre emergence.

Pendimethaline is legal post emergence at 3 litres/ha but BASF for example do not recommend it.

I am with a new man this year.
He had me use nivarna mixed with Challenge (which is maybe not available in uk?). Have you ever tried that?
