We have got 3 ha of the winter bird food in, the local shoot has asked if they can shoot. I am unsure if they can, its stewardship, not grown as game cover?
    What your thoughts
I have got a feeling to say no, so I don't get in trouble

It’s fine, tell them to hand feed if you don’t want hoppers in it

What option is it? AB9? No hoppers. Don't let them cut a paths in either.

Very good game bird cover ;)

2018 start date CS Higher Tier prescription for my AB9

Doesn't say anything about NOT driving pheasant out of them...

We have had some of our best drives on it this year.
No problem to put feeders around the outside, after all they are looking after all the wintering birds!

I'll look up the manual but it says to use the AB12 feeding supplement max 10% in hoppers, the rest broadcast. Nothing to stop you putting extra feed out but beware of rats.

Make sure the beaters don't flatten by tapping at it when they walk through and, as above, don't let them cut rides in it.
