Anyone got any good projects started/to start? Been awhile since we have had a good trailer build or a tractor refurbishment. Anybody want to volunteer to post a lot of pics etc to give a buddy something decent to read through on these dark murky nights?:p

Bring the pics on we have 450m of fencing to be replaced before the end of December so that is our main project, that and I would like to try and mount our hedgecutter head onto the digger if I get time

Away to start a new handling set up for cattle. Think that will take up a bit of winter.

The plan is to get this back and in the workshop by Christmas to start stripping it down.

@bovrill a lot of work needed there, what’s the story behind her?
Bought it when I was 19 when I took over a contracting business. Made over 100,000 round bales with it, and got it to over 15,000 hours.
Problems with family helped it then get abandoned for several years, possibly 10!
Time to get it going again. I'm hoping basic mechanics won't take too much, then do the cosmetics later.

Hope yous pair will be starting threads or keeping this one going(y)
@Pebd99 what size of handling facility? New or replacing a current one?

Will be all new but homemade. 7m wide forcing pen, box section is getting rolled before long for it.13m race that’s adjustable width. Crush with vet box possibly homemade. Plus 3 or 4 4x5m holding pens. Not sure whether to start a new thread or carry on here.

This will be an interesting project for you then, seeing as it was your first one. Did it ever give many problems?

Not really, she had new rings and shells in the engine at one point, and a couple of clutches over the years.
Wear in the linkages for hydraulic and gear levers were getting a pain at the end, and the electrics will need some tarting up. And the rubber bits in the fuel line will need replacing again.
