Got this old 13/6 ford to sort out
Mechanically she’s very good just needs a counterweight sorting and cosmetic tidy up.
(Only pic I have)
Spent many hours on one of those some years ago, did some road miles on it as well between Stratford and Warwick. Could just about light a smoke off the exhaust manifold after going up the hill from Longbridge island heading back to Stratford. The counterweight on ours was about a ton and a half cast concrete lump bolted in place of the backactor. Driving down the road with at least 2 tonne bags of fert was doable, it had been known to lift 4 of them but made the tyres bulge fairish
With no cab or rollbar as it had slipped under the requirements due to it being an industrial loader meant it would go in any of the buildings ;)

Got a couple- yes, one is the dreaded (?) trailer build- I've got he axles and gradually stockpiling the parts that I need. it's on the drawing board at the moment but will be a goer at some stage over the winter. The other one is to convert (well re make really) my roller into something like the Watson fully hydraulic end tow unit although I'm currently struggling with getting my head around how they make the centre shaft strong enough to carry the drums when full with water..... Plus the other odd minor ones that come along. Plenty in those to keep me busy!

Lots of projects.
Extension behind house.
Roof extension on workshop
Pantry at a rented property I need to do.
New barn for building machinery
re-fence horse paddock
Finish repair to navara chassis.
Defender engine swap to a Merc om606
Restore two escort rs turbo.
And lots more in the house to do.

Oh and one I’m collecting today. Rebuild an einbock 6m grass Harrow I bought for £25. Should be a giggle. Or not.

My rs turbo been in my shed awaiting its winter restoration for about the last ten years. House needs a new roof and extension I'm telling the Mrs that's a summer job though she has a big list of jobs inside that I won't get away without doing.

You lucky bugger it’s been inside. Mine is sat out side. It’s really not in a great state. It’s going to need new sills, arches, front and rear panels. Etc etc. Trouble is it’s a non custom so very few around. I would put up images but I’m to embarrassed as to the state I’ve let it get into. When it’s stripped and blasted then I’ll put up images. That’ll be after Christmas.

Awesome, between us we have 2 of the rarest (150 and under according to rs owners club) escorts around. How non custom is yours? Does it have any thing on it? Mine is as basic as it gets. No sunroof, no central locking, manual mirrors, no fuel computer etc. Stark contrast compared to my s2
