Wireless thermometer

Anyone got a recommendation for a wireless thermometer? Not really looking for a fancy weather station, just a thermometer that I can get far enough away from the house to give a decent reading, with a display inside the house. The last one I had kept disconnecting and was more trouble than it was worth. Thanks

I've had a couple of decent Oregon ones over the years, but as part of a budget weather station. One lasted 15 years and the second is about 10 years old and still going. Batteries last a year or two.

This sort that aldi and lidl do are fine. I just put a cover over the outdoor unit to keep the rain off it.
My cover is made from the bottom half of a 4 pint milk fitted upside down. :)

Thanks, that's funny as my one that gave trouble was an oregon one. I think protecting the sensor is probably the answer, as it did work ok for 6 months, then kept disconnecting.👍
