has anyone found these pretty naff, got the proper sparex ones and they seem to lose connection after about 5 metres, any comments?

Hell of a trailer!odd as my mate has the sparex ones when they first came out, he range tested his and got about 150 feet away before they stopped working.

I had a similar problem, they hardly worked at all, turned out I hadn't fitted the wee ariel to the plug, the red thing in the end of the plug was in fact a cover over the ariel connection! Muppet at work.......Do they need some setting up before they are used, as we just can’t seem to get them to work!?
