Wireless trailer lights

The 13 pins will just connect to a couple of terminals in the 7 pin plug. No reason why they should not work as normal.

We have a magnetic set & may well buy some more. We usually stick them to the back furrow of the plough to come home after dark safely.

Yes they work just the same. I was having trouble with them working on tractor when I first got them so tried them on pickup which is 13pin. With adapter worked fine and as been said above did stick some so depending on where your plug is in relation to drawbar might get caught when turning. Eventually got them working on tractor.

I have some sparex ones they are good and work with adaptor BUT you need to make sure you put them on the correct sides when youre in a hurry at the end of the day or else trailer will indicate left turn when you are turning right.....

Also the transmitter that plugs into the socket will show the trailer lights as working even if they are switched off. I'm not sure that is legal as it is not really a true indication of the light working as it would be with a simple wired set.

which set do you have. I got a set of the spares connix lights last week and the range is a little disappointing. They are cutting in and out at 16 meters from sender.

I have the Connix LED ones and leading bales out of field I’ll drop trailer off and I can see brake lights working from far enough off. Would not exaggerate at 50 yards plus and then some. Been very good. A tip I would give is to not to totally trust the magnets and use a zip tie in case they do come adrift on way down road. Least it’ll be dangling rather than been run over by an hgv 👍

same as mine then. I’m towing my ute behind the sprayer and the problem must be the signal getting through the sprayer then the ute. I’m going to wire a plug in at the back of the sprayer rather that the double adapter I’ve got plugged into the tractor at moment.

One of my Connix ones has died, due to water ingress. Stored stuck on tractor mudguard. Bit disappointing tbh, but good bit of kit nonetheless.

Must be as with clear LOS they seem to have a good range.

That is disappointing. Probably built as temporary lighting and to be stored out of the weather.
