Wireless weather station

Any comparisons between the Davis Vantage Vue and Sencrop? They're almost the same price, but the Sencrop hasn't wind speed, but the Davis has.

If you are farming blocks of land say 10miles plus away from your main yard, do any of you have a remote weather station on those blocks of land, which you can read from your farm office,to save a wasted journey to that farm if it has rained etc.

Yes - it’s exactly what I use the sencrop stations for - saves a lot of wasted journeys

to revive this any recommendation on a cheap ish weather station ideally with an app so can view from phone other than that it will just sit in my garden so somthing basic.

How are sencrop users getting on with them after a few months? Can you link soil moisture sensors/leaf wetness etc to them?

Paid a lot of money for one a year ago but struggle to use the software which i think was written in 1987

No soil moisture/leaf wetness ability yet but presumably must be coming. Software easy to use and what we are now doing is creating networks with other farmers and can see all their wind and rain data. Excellent if you have a farm a few miles away and someone else already has a Sencrop next to it, saves buying another!
