If you are farming blocks of land say 10miles plus away from your main yard, do any of you have a remote weather station on those blocks of land, which you can read from your farm office,to save a wasted journey to that farm if it has rained etc.
I see if you're a member of Camgrain there is an offer on.
No soil moisture/leaf wetness ability yet but presumably must be coming. Software easy to use and what we are now doing is creating networks with other farmers and can see all their wind and rain data. Excellent if you have a farm a few miles away and someone else already has a Sencrop next to it, saves buying another! How are sencrop users getting on with them after a few months? Can you link soil moisture sensors/leaf wetness etc to them?
Paid a lot of money for one a year ago but struggle to use the software which i think was written in 1987

However the stations nearest to me are either near Edinburgh or Newcastle - so that's useful.

I love my Netatmo.
Placed beside the house. Don't need remote site monitoring.
Hi Clive, how you had enough rain yet to test how accurate the rain gauge is, only reason I ask is my Netatmo seems to have lost its way again in this dry spell, we had 11mm yesterday, normal gauge next to it said that, but my Netatmo said 8, it’s done this before, spiders make webs inside and slow the tipping mechanism I think. Looking for an upgrade and like the look of this.
It's OK, rain gauge hates spider's webs, just need to remember to open it up and clean it few times a year, does what it says on the tin, record's rain, puts on graph that can be looked at anywhere, on anything, tells you when it's raining, which always makes my family laugh as we will be miles away from home and my rain drop notification sound will go off and someone will laugh and say it's raining at home, it's all good enough for me and not silly money. How are you both getting on with your netatmos?
I like the look of it but the Amazon reviews aren’t great
