Wiring loom for ford 6610.

Had a fire start on my ford 6610 couple of days ago, started under the bonnet on top of front fuel tank, managed to put it out but it's cooked the main loom which plugs in under the dash and runs along the top of the engine feeding most of the electrical components, can't get one from new holland as there obsolete now,I've tried some of the breakers but haven't found one yet, does anyone known where I can get one from? The tractor has an A.P cab and is B reg 84 I think.

Seem to remember they were hard to get (the correct one) when the tractors were main stream.
Can you not repair just go colour to colour before and after the burn, but that's easy for me to say.
Also E-Bay might be another possibility?
Leave the battery disconnected until fully repaired.

Suspect it is probably fairly easy to construct a new one.
You are probably lucky, they could not supply a new one from CNH. They supplied one for my vintage David Brown which had absolutely no connection to the real question one. Ended up doing a complete reconstruction and wasted the supposedly original part

Yes I've had a good look at repairing it but the multipin plugs melted on the end off the loom and burnt all the plastic insulation from around all the wiring that runs across the top of the engine, the fire seemed to follow the path of the loom itself.
