Allegedly.......found in water (so are great crested newts....) and has some mammalian toxicity (I think including foetal) so didn't stand a chance really.

I heard today it could be reclassified and then no useup period
If this does not happen there will be plenty manufactured to be sold by 20 November
I am sue they will be able to sell all they can manufacture before November

The possible reclassification could be to a high level carcinogen. If that does happen then there would probably only be a very short use up period, as in just 3-4 weeks.
My guess is that as this notice has come out CTL hasn’t been reclassified and and the use up period will be as stated. If not there would be a lot of CTL going on at T2 & T3 this year by anyone who had already forward purchased for next year

Well yes but what is the official line?
To gently coax us along the organic path by banning a couple of actives every year till the are none left . Then there will either be a year where septoria wipes out the european wheat crop or it will actually work and we will be in organic heaven !!!!! Probably when the politicans have to explain to the general public why the price of bread has doubled overnight and weetabix are more expensive than caviar because the harvest failed we might see a lot of products quickly unbanned .

the politicians cannot agree on anything
both in the uk and the eu so no hope of any change there
when we get a new set of politicians there may be some change but not holding my breath
the nations of Europe are wealthy enough to buy all the food they need although that did not stop the irish famine when the british government underestimated the problem of crop failures in Ireland

If the use up is 20 May there is an opertunity to do 2020 t0 t1t1.5 and some t2 on wheat plus treating barley

2million ha wheat average 3 l per ha then the wheat usage could be 6 million litres potential plus barley usage

I have enough bought to cover the rest of this year and 2020

T2 will go on before may 20th !
