Wood pellets

Installing a log/pellet burning range cooker. Recommendations for pellet suppliers?
Are all pellets equal or does one have to watch spec or moisture content?

I use http://www.whitehorseenergy.co.uk and have there Firepower product in a Okeofen pellet boiler, I did use Verdo to start but firepower are cheaper and in bigger bags, 15kg, and seem a better product

They are usually around the cheapest, I usually buy the majority of my supply (6T) in June/July at the lowest price, then get the odd pallet if its a bad winter.

Delivered by Palletways and I always ask for the delivery to be booked in, that way you can make sure the haulier knows and problems with the delivery address and get them to ring before they come so we can have the loader ready.

You'll have to see what your warranty requires regards to spec, but if RHI is involved you need A1 EN spec to comply with there rules

No RHI as it's a range cooker, will check the resurrections for any minimum spec requirements. Thanks

Burn cereals if they are cheaper than wood pellets,if you are not claiming RHI. Wood pellets are priced artificially high by the certified suppliers....because they can!
