I keep reading articles about leaving the pigeons alone to build in numbers.....good for the shooter, terrible for the farmer.

Please don't think that all shooters are the same, if I'm asked to reduce pigeon numbers I will be there ALL YEAR ROUND, even when the pigeons seem to be thin on the ground.

I keep reading articles about leaving the pigeons alone to build in numbers.....good for the shooter, terrible for the farmer.

Leaving em alone to build is a spring and summer technique often used (without any real guarantee I might add) by pigeon guides to satisfy their clients but it doesn't apply in winter months cos pigeons are already en masse, from late October until end of February.

What's really needed is some kind of forward planning to ensure pigeon shooters are where they need to be and more so in winter when individuals could be strategically deployed far better by someone in the know....than any random hopeful.

There is an organisation called national pigeon and pest control NPPC run by John shooter which I am a member of, John has been successfully organising well organized pigeon shooting ect for many years.look his website up.

Hello all,

Firstly id like to thank you for reading this.

My name is Arron i have been shooting for 18 years using uk legal limit spring powered and pneumatic air rifles of which are silenced. These are extremely accurate and do not scare any live stock. All shots are humane.

I am from great barr west midlands and im happy to help where necesary.

Barn work shooting to open field shooting isnt a problem.

I have pubic liability shooting insurance

I always respect the wishes of the land owner and obey any rules or regulations he or she may lqy down. I can also offer eyes and ears to any tress passing/ fly tipping of rubbish and inform the land owner directly / or nearest convenience of any occurrences.

Safety is upmost important to me and never take any shots unless they are safe.
