we will be putting a piece of 5mm x 30mm link chain as a divider instead of the strap or rope ,and removing the heel board and replacing it with concrete

nice, you're lucky your cows don't break the horizontal dividing board, we gave up on our wood cubicles because the quality of replacement wood was so poor and the cows try to turn in the cubicle and break the dividing wood

I was going to say lifting up the head rail (or completely replacing with a ratchet strap higher up) helps too, but less so with Jerseys or heifers I guess.

the head rail is being raised and brought back a bit to get them in a better position we are putting in a sloping adjustment fixing rail to allow for easy changes if necessary

Hi depending on how you want to do this we have individual mats 20mm thick soft eva starting at £30 + vat
6' x 3'6" going up to £33 +vat for 6' x 4' or if you want extra thick 30mm mats these are 6' x 3'10" at £47 + vat
all these mats need to have a 1" - 2" gap in between to allow for expansion. Other options are solid rubber 17mm 6' x 4' heavy but soft 3mpa rubber compund at £28 + vat and finally if you don't want any gaps between cubicals we do a 28mm interlocking mat that interlocks together to create one continuous run of mats the length of of your kennels but you may need to trim around posts these are made from an eva and rubber compound and cost £67 + vat per mat 5'11" x 4'.
Hope this helps all are in stock at present and can be sent to you for a small delivery charge.
